Rules & Regulations

🔐 1. Security

1. Biometric authentication is mandatory while entering and exiting the PG.
2. Residents must cooperate with the security and management staff at all times.

👩‍👧 2. Visitors Policy

1. Outsiders are not allowed inside the PG premises. If any unauthorized outsider is found, management may directly issue a 30-day notice to the resident to vacate the premises.
2. Only the resident's mother is allowed as a visitor.
3. A valid identity proof of the mother must be produced when required.

🏠 3. Vacating & Notice Period

1. Residents must provide a minimum of 30 days' prior notice before vacating.
2. The security deposit collected at the time of admission is refundable subject to the applicable PG terms and provided that the required 30-day notice is given.
3. Residents must send their Name, Room Number and Notice Issuing Date to the management through WhatsApp.

⚠️ 4. Behaviour & Discipline

1. If any issue, misconduct or violence is caused by a resident, the owner/management reserves the right to issue a 30-day notice to vacate.
2. Residents must maintain peaceful and respectful behaviour towards roommates, other residents and management staff.
3. If there is any problem with a roommate or another guest, residents should immediately inform management.

🍱 5. Food Rules

1. Food is not allowed inside the rooms.
2. Food can only be packed during the morning.
3. Packing afternoon and night meals is not allowed.
4. If a resident is found violating this rule, a penalty of ₹500 will be charged.

🧹 6. Room Maintenance

1. Residents must keep their rooms clean and properly maintained.
2. Any damage caused to the room, furniture, fixtures or other property may be charged to the resident.
3. Applicable damage charges may be deducted from the security deposit.

🗑️ 7. Garbage & Waste Disposal

1. Waste must be disposed of only in the garbage bins provided by JNR Residence.
2. Residents must not throw garbage in corridors, staircases or other common areas.

🔑 8. Room Keys

1. Residents are responsible for keeping their room keys safe.
2. Management will not be responsible for the loss of personal room keys.
3. A charge of ₹500 will be applicable for a lost room key.

🛡️ 9. Responsibility & Personal Belongings

1. JNR Residence is not responsible for personal or professional matters occurring outside the PG premises.
2. Residents are responsible for their valuable belongings, including gold items, laptops, mobile phones, cash and other personal valuables.

🚫 10. Prohibited Activities

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the PG.
• Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the PG.
• Gambling is strictly prohibited inside the PG.

🧳 11. Luggage Policy

1. Only two trolley bags with minimum necessary luggage are allowed per resident.
2. Residents are requested to avoid carrying unnecessary luggage.

💰 12. Rent Payment

1. Monthly rent must be paid on or before the 5th of every month.
2. If the resident fails to pay the rent dues after the 5th of the month, a late payment charge of ₹100 per day will be applicable.
3. Residents staying during their notice period are required to pay the applicable rent for that period.
